Biography

Nick graduated with a BA of Fine Art (Painting) from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2001, where he completed an Honours year in 2003. In 2005 Nick received a Masters of Cultural Materials Conservation (specialising in paper) from the University of Melbourne. Since 2006 Nick has been employed as a Special Projects Conservator at the CCMC working with the collection of Public Record Office Victoria. In this role his tasks have included the management and implementation of Treatment Programs, Exhibitions Conservation activities and the creation and delivery of Preservation Training and Information sessions for PROV staff and the public. As an artist, Nick has exhibited extensively in solo and group exhibitions in Australia and New Zealand for the past 6 years and he was awarded a Studio Residency at Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces from 2006-08. He is currently also employed as a Sessional Lecturer at the Victorian College of the Arts.
