Heritage Victoria
Heritage Victoria is the Victorian State Government's principal agency dealing with post-contact cultural heritage and it is part of the Department of Sustainability and Environment. Heritage Victoria's strategy, Victoria's Heritage: Strengthening our Communities, creates a framework for heritage management in Victoria, and is delivered through seven distinct program areas.
The Capacity Building program area will provide skills training to heritage specialists, and Heritage Victoria is pleased to be associated with the CCMC research and education programs.
Staff from Heritage Victoria contribute to our teaching programs as guest lecturers and provide industry feedback on curriculum content, as well as hosting site visits to the conservation laboratory and student internship placements.
